This guy is stalking me what should i do?

this guy is kinda stalking me. he used to always come to my house and knock my flowers over and go thru my trash. he still plays on my phone. if he calls my house phone and im not home he buys fake numbers and calls my cell phone! he s forever on my twitter page! i don't understand. now i just went to ou put the trash out and he knocked over my trash can!! the top was still on it thats how i kno that he went in my trash then turned it over. he is making me mad especially bc he keeps playing on my phone!!
its something wrong with him! hes a grown man in his late 40's why would somebody do this?
i always think hes sitting outside my house.

DO NOT talk to him for any reason. Next time you see him outside your house, call the police to say there is someone loitering outside your building that you have been many times before and have also seen him going through the trash. You don't even have to say that you know him. Just give the police a physical description and what he's wearing.
