What would fit as a minor?

Okay so im seriously considering majoring in marketing. ive done alot of research on the major and what it consist of and im loving it. My only thing though is what would be a smart minor...kinda to go with it. I love computers too so i was thinking about minoring in computer science or some tech field. Would that be wise? what would be some good minors to fit the major or do they even have to go together at all?

Your minor doesn't have to complement your major, but it's nice if it does. I'd recommend taking some design courses, especially in web and graphic design, some courses in social media marketing/outreach, a writing course or two, economics, business, public relations, communications... Cast a wide net.

Also why don't you find some job descriptions for marketing positions you'd eventually be interested in and see what sort of skills and training they require?
