i would really like to find a lesbian girlfriend...im a girly girl...thats what im interested in the ones who dont actually look like lesbians?...as you can see i dont know a way of meeting other lesbians...

If you're under 18, your best bet would probably be to join an LGBT support group or club that caters to youth and/or people of all ages (e.g. a local branch of PFLAG, the Metropolitan Community Church, Gay Youth, or the Gay Straight Alliance). If you can't find such an organization in your area, consider starting your own Gay Youth group or Gay Straight Alliance at your school or elsewhere in your community (e.g. at a community center or library). It'd be a great way to meet potential girlfriends and other kids like you and help further LGBT tolerance and causes at the same time!

If you're over 18, you might want to look for a girlfriend at a more adult-oriented LGBT group or event; you can find a ton of them in your area simply by typing "tempe arizona lgbt" into your search engine and clicking the search button. You might also want to post a personal ad for your ideal girlfriend in your local newspaper; on your Facebook or MySpace page (if you've got one); or on the website for an online dating service like Match.com, http://www.planetsappho.com. Just be careful doing the latter, as too many Internet users aren't whom they say they are. Also, if you're looking for a long-term relationship, you might want to stay out of bars and nightclubs, as too many people who frequent them -- gay and straight alike -- are only interested in one-night stands.
