Iphone 4s IS 250MB ENOUGH?
Hello,
Im thinking about getting an iPhone and the contract plan I want go with is Unlimited texts 300 mins and 250MB data I was wondering if that's enough data I don't really use the internet much

I have WI-Fi at home which I will use a lot I also have WI-Fi on my bus and various other places
If I do use the internet is will only be for
Twitter - tweet 4/5 times
Instagram - Only sometimes though

I never go on Facebook or watch videos on you tube
Mostly I'll be using WI-Fi

Thank you Smile

Generally, you can watch your usage and change your plan it necessary. I have known several people who have looked at their bill even AFTER a month with a bunch of overages, called customer service, and the representative changed the plan effective the previous month, reversing the overages. It probably depends on the phone company, as well as what apps you have running.

Apple and AT&T got in trouble for running background processes on phones that were causing data overages, so hopefully that won't happen.

If you're diligent about using WiFi only (there are ways to turn off data services when you aren't on WiFi) and monitor your usage, you should be fine (or change plans if you're going to run out of data). Keep in mind, though, that even images can be 1MB. I'm sure Instagram compresses them, but if you take a 5-megapixel picture with your phone and upload it, you might be using 1MB more of data right there, so it can add up quick.

Watch for apps running in the background!

That's the plan I have and I have wifi wherever I go. I look up my bank records sometimes and check facebook but I never go over my limit. I think it's a perfect amount as long as you have wifi.
