this girl is saying i tagged the wrong person in a picture?

so me and my friends and this other girls were taking pictures after school, and she posted them on facebook. in one of me and my friends, she tagged some upperclassmen instead of my friend. i messaged her and was like hey btw i think you tagged the wrong person (because i didnt want her to be embarassed) and she was like "oh its fine i didnt even notice" then upperclassmen commented and was like "this isnt me". and then the girl who tagged it wrong was like "sorry my friends tagged it wrong". does she think i tagged it? because i messaged her about it? so i messaged her and was like "lol i meant you tagged it wrong not me haha" and cant you see on facebook who tagged it? i mean like wouldnt the upperclassman girl have gotten a notification that says " ______ added a picture of you" ?
