how to save a screen cap as a picture?

I'm supposed to take a screen cap of something, and then post it on someone's facebook page. I have the screen cap saved as a word document, but I can't just post the word document as an attatchment, because facebook won't let you do that. So, how can I save it as a picture, so I can post the photo on this person's wall? I can't just send it to them in a message, it HAS to be on their wall.

A screen capture IS an image. If you use something like XNView, Gimp, or the other 1000 apps that do screen capture, you get an image. If you have the image in a word document, you should be able to click on it and copy and paste it into an image app. If you have text, you can open it in a word processor and do a screen capture on the screen, and there you are.
