What are good stretches to get my cheer needle in less than a month?
So, I cheer, and really want to get my needle. So far my scorpion is really close, but I just can't get it the rest of the way up. Here is my scorpion right now.

Well one really essential thing is obviously the splits. If you don't have your splits, you need to work on those first. One really great stretch that has worked for me is this:
Stand in an open doorway. Face the side with hinges and place whichever leg (I'll just say right) clost to the doorframe. If you want, you can slide your left leg up the wall, to stretch your splits, then bring it back down halfway. Hook your left foot around the doorframe behind you, then reach back and grab the edge of the doorframe like it was your leg in a needle. Then try to slide your left leg up the wall. Once you can straighten out your leg against the wall, you should be able to do a needle. This really helped me, hope it helped you too!
