What dvr will be compatible with dish 500 plus?
I have a regular dish receiver, i want to buy a dvr. I have a dish 500 plus which has 110 118 119, which dvr can I buy so that I could just connect to the cable and watch tv?

use dishes own dvr call dish-network, less setup then trying to get another brand to communicate with a separate box one set top box with box in it dish dvr is the way to go.

Chiranjeev,
All receivers can be used on a Dish 500+ since you're receiving 119, 110, and 118.7. If you receive our Eastern satellites (72.7, 77, 61.5) a HD receiver would be required. All you have to do it hook up the receiver from the switch, and then run a check switch test to verify the satellites. Let me know if you have any other questions!
