Being a cold blooded dude; a businessman and a vulture capitalist does not exclude being of a religious Faith. Indeed, in the USA, being a Christian seems to be the same as being greedy. And as the Bible can be used to justify nearly any absurd social stance, then 'flip flopping' is almost obligatory.

As for could he be a closet atheist, well yes, because the USA is such a primitive society, to get into office of any sort, you have to be - or pretend to be superstitious even 12thC.

Cold blooded? Do some research on his charity before he ever ran for office. His acts speak loud about his character. But if you are going to get your opinions from the mainstream media, who will tell you what they want you to hear and no more, then so be it. You can choose to "believe" whatever you want, but a belief or feeling doesn't equal the truth.
Looking into it would require some effort and I doubt that you really even care if you are right or wrong.

As far as being a "vulture capitalist" goes, do you have any idea what his business consisted of? Sometimes he purchased failing businesses to try and save them. Sometimes they could not be revived. Yes, people lose their jobs when this happens. What do you suggest he do? Ask the government for a bail out?

Speaking of baol outs, It's so unfair what the government did bailing out some businesses and leaving others to die. Some businesses die due to their own poor management or other issues, that's just the way it is. It's unfair to rescue some and not others, don't you think? You also better be careful not to kill the golden goose. It's the capitalists paying taxes and making it possible for the moochers to mooch and the government to rob.
