i need help on my religion ISU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
can u give me your views on war why you think war is bad and why you think people need to stop war? here is what i have so far on war. War is a fight between two or more countries using army, navy and air-force. War is a conflict between two countries. When a war is waged, not only military personnel but also civilians die in people from both sides. Whatever is the problem between the countries that involve in a war, war is not a solution. Problems are not resolved from any war. Instead, more and more problems are generated from a war. Nuclear war could wipe out entire population. Even the surviving people and their future generation would suffer from its consequences.
Countries spend billions of dollars on war, which could be spent on developmental projects that would result in employment. That money instead could help people get new jobs; it could help homeless people, and also help the economy. War is not safe for people who have children and family that they have to take care of. War is not a game because it destroys families, it ruins countries reputation, it destroys land, and it causes pollution and people get diseases by war. War cannot be prevented and it also cannot be solved.
War can lead to a big social change; it can make people think in a violent way and act in a violent way.
please give me information i need atleast 2 pages its due monday jan 14, 2013

RELIGION is the cause of most wars. Religious differences are also the cause of the Crusades, the Inquisition, 9/11, arranged marriages to minors, blowing up schools, the suppression of women and homosexuals, fatwas, ethnic cleansing, honor rape, human sacrifice, burning witches, suicide bombings, condoning slavery and the systematic fucking of children. There are a few little things I have a problem with. Oh, I just thought of a few more: Trying to bring creation pseudoscience into my kids' classrooms, officially turning a blind eye to the Holocaust as it was happening, bombing abortion clinics and murdering its doctors, dogmatic intolerance of any opposing viewpoint, anti-science attitude which retards human progress, the devastation caused by AIDS because of a refusal to allow condoms, the silly notion of vicarious redemption, and actually believing faith is a noble human virtue.

You have already summed up war better than most media correspondents
or officials of any government.
Usually the problem that brings on a war is the giant egos of leaders. Power. they
need to be in control. It doesn't always cause war but it always does cause conflict.
Even in the case of free elections, you always have gigantic egos looking for recognition.

Weather the war is about religious beliefs or other mythologies, it boils down
to being right and enlarging our belief system to allow slaughter and looting.
We are all brainwashed as children and it takes us many years to discard
all those outmoded superstitions we accepted as true.

Most countries in the world now think that competition in all things is a worthwhile
and effective method of conducting our affairs.
Back in 1910, just over 100 years ago, the earth had less that 2 billion people.
In 2010 the UN estimated a world population of 7 billion
with almost 1 billion going to bed hungry every night. The forecast is for another
2 billion or more by 2050. We have a billion hungry now and we expect 2 or 3
billion mouths to feed in 40 years.
If the nations of the world do not take steps to gain full cooperation from
everybody in the world, many will go hungry.

But the lesson man needs to learn is the one Jesus emphasized, Love your
brother as yourself. We are all here in earth school to learn that lesson
and to see the Christ in every fellow man and realize our oneness.
We did not come here for greedy pursuits which take up our whole
life, but rather to learn to love, which is cooperation, not competition

Now it becomes imperative that we learn to help each other.
