How do I make my profile/cover pictures private?

Today, 12-21-12, facebook changed on me and now people can see my profile picture. I was told cover pictures are always able to be seen but I want my profile pictures private. They were private just yesterday but this new update makes it public for everyone to see.
I just want it so people, that I'm not fb friends with, can't click on it to make it bigger and go through my profile album and comments.

Simply go to your album, click on Edit Photos, then Edit Info, and then there is a privacy option at the bottom asking "Who can see this?".

You can choose whatever option you like, or make a custom friends list of those you'd like to allow to view the album.

If you set the privacy setting to "Only friends", then their comments on your photos will only appear in your friends' news feeds.
