Help - Do We need to worry about this and how to opt out of Instagram on Facebook?
Facebook's photo-sharing site Instagram has updated its privacy policy giving it the right to sell users' photos to advertisers without notification.

The only way to prevent instagram using your photos is to delete your instagram account.
Which is what I did yesterday! Ads |

I saw facebook for what it was when it started. Never had an account, if it ever goes anywhere near any photo site I use I will delete my account. If I had an Instagram account it would have been deleted as soon as facebook bought it.

You could copyright all of your photographs, opt out before January 16th, 2013, or do exactly what the first two people who answered your question suggested. Personally I would delete the whole facebook account if I were you. It's already too heavily monitored by the police and other snoopers.

Jm.b is correct, it's just a data collecting agency I reckon, and you never know who's snooping. I closed my account with them ages ago.
