where can i find a web designer to build a website free?

I'm suffering financially and I really want a website for business purposes. Where can I find new web designers who want to build up their portfolio for free?

Hopefully they got experience with facebook apps.

Well, I can tell you that you won't find any kind of professional to do a website for free unless it's for a non profit organization. So that's definitely out of the question. It's going to be hard to find web designers that will do sites for free right now because everyone needs money in this economy.

HOWEVER, if you really need a site done for free, what I would do is go to one of your local colleges that has a major that includes web design and see if they would be open to working with you on producing a website for your business as part of their curriculum for the semester. When I went to school for web and graphic design, we had two clients come in so that we got some experience working with clients on real design projects. Usually they will do these for free. I would check them out.

If you are anywhere near the La Crosse, WI area, I may be able to hook you up. Just depends on if there's a web class this Spring going on and they can fit you in.

Also, if you don't have local colleges where you live, they don't have web design, they don't or can't take your project on, or whatever the case may be, there is a place where you can get a website for pretty cheap. It's called O Desk and they actually have professionals on there looking for a little bit of extra cash. You can set what you are willing to pay and people will apply or you can contact designers.

I'd also try posting at the local high schools (or having a student post a request for you). There are some teen-agers who are pretty good web developers, and most of them have facebook experience (but you DON'T want to put a business site on facebook).

It'll be hard to find someone who actually does web design professionally to do it for free.

If you can find someone who's studying web design, they might be willing to do it if it can help for a project.

You aren't the only one that is suffering financially. The question put in mind would be would you like to work for free if you are financially struggling because that doesn't sound smart or business like at all it takes money to make money. You can have this free site and still no one comes (refer to reference popular tv show if you want)

No way will someone work for free on a facebook app then its got to be accepted as well if they have a system like Apple that costs more money, can get 100,000 easy on the latter.

As for a website cheap as you can go about $500 bucks it should hurt you anymore financially.

The economy sparks the strangest of requests. No one should work for free.
