Blackberry 9320 Issue?

I got my 9320 around 6 months ago and I am still having the same problem. I cannot use WiFi to browse the internet, use internet-connected apps (Such as Whats app, Facebook) and recive and make calls/texts this is a major problem since my parents can never call me it always replies "Phone is turned off" yet my wifi is on??? It only works with 3G (Mobile Internet) but it costs me alot of money. I am on a contract with 3 network and I have called them and gone into the store but the only reply i get is "This is how Blackberrys work" Is this right? Most of my friends have bb's and they do not have this problem Also I only reciveve signal bars when im connected to 3G and not to wifi it simply says "OFF" on the top right corner

Try this -
When you device is POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery. This make a reboot to your device which minor issues with the BlackBerry device.

If this doesn't help then check the each app version and look in App world for application update. For your information App World, Facebook, Twitter all works in Wi-Fi.
