If I send an email from a yahoo account, will it get through on someone's facebook email?
A friend of mine is on facebook and I stopped using it. Will I still be able to communicate with them through email?

yes, but if you arent on their friends list with that email, then it will only show up in their "other messages" folder, and they wont be notified, so the chances of them ever seeing the messages are very slim
