What are these very long "fan pages" people are liking all of the sudden?

And when you click on the fan page, it's not related to Facebook? Is this a virus of some sorts? It's very long, repetitive titles, like "Is this annoying yet? Is this annoying yet? Is this annoying yet..?" and it goes on and on. Anyone know?

no, it's not viruses. they're just links to other sites like OMGFacts or lovegivesmehope, etc.
they're a new annoying trend, that's all.

I was wondering the same thing. An hour ago, I saw one that repeated 'Im awesome' about 100 times. It is probably spam of some sort.

it aint a virus it is a new trend (hopefully will stop soon) it re-directs you to a site were somewhere on the page you can 'like' for facebook. it can be annoying when you go onto your homepage too see the words 'i am awesome' being repeated for half a page.

Some people will follow a fad because everyone else is doing it. so f***ing annoying. Why people can't just be themselves and stop trying to follow the herd is beyond me.

It's just one of those annoying things that aren't technically breaking the rules of Facebook, so they are aloud and people will join them because everyone else is.

These are basically what i think are called "SPAM". It's a very long fan page that takes up over half of your wall and i guess people join it to annoy their friends home pages.

It's just like those groups that require you to join it to see a unique picture and they are annoying.
