Is Microsoft Security Essentials good enough for me?
i haven't had any infections on my computer for 3yrs (not 1), the only sites i go on is facebook, youtube, yahoo answers and Google, i never download anything, on facebook and Google im very cautious with everything, would this program be good enough?? i don't need Norton anymore because it's a waist of space and i never get any viruses, spyware. or anything else.

Surprisingly... Microsoft's Security Essentials is better than commerical(paid) anti-virus software imho, so yes, I think it's just fine for you.

Security Essentials is very good. It's all I use...that and a couple of Firefox addons, WOT and KeyScrambler.

Yes, I would recommend Microsoft Security Essentials to anyone who needs a free antivirus program. I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials for a while now and I haven't really had any major problems with it.

If you would like to try using Microsoft Security Essentials, you can download it from the link below.

In addition to running frequent antivirus scans, I would also suggest that you run frequent antispyware or antimalware scans.

If you need a free antimalware program, perhaps you should try using MalwareBytes, which can be downloaded from the link below.

Both of these programs are free and do not require that you pay in order to renew any subscriptions.

Also, perhaps you should try using Mozilla FireFox, which is a free browser that is safer than Internet Explorer and can also be customized with a variety of free add-ons and themes. If you would like to try using Mozilla FireFox, you can download it from the link below.

Good luck and I hope I helped you!
