We saw what happened to our 401Ks in 2008, do you really want to gamble with Social Security?

Let me make this clear,,,,,,,,,,,,,,The Stock Market is long term investing and over the long run stocks outperform Social Security 10 to 1.

Plus retirement investing is not just individual stocks, it is a mixture mutual funds, and bonds, which are very safe over the long term.

Any Conservative investor knows you don't put all your eggs in one basket, you diversify, (liberals love that term).

Now the kicker when it comes time to retire SS could be bankrupt or change your retirement date and amount, no so with the 401k. If any fund manager ran their funds like SS does, they would be in jail.

I know you libs are all for choice, so why can't there be a choice SS or 401k?

It's my money. Not the goverments. I should decide what to do with my own money.

You don't fund your retirement over 1 year. You preferably do it over 2 or 3 decades.

because wealth generation is a useful thing and if you believe in America, over the long run your investment in the stock market would be a better investment than other instruments that can barely keep up with inflation, let alone actually grow.

All investments need to be done responsibly.

The stock market is almost guaranteed to profit over the long term. Our government is about $12,000,000,000,000 in debt. Better to gamble than to forfeit.
