Why did he write this on my Facebook wall and Twitter?

Me and boyfriend split up a few weeks ago and I have ignored all his phone calls and texts. I just realised he wrote an apology to me on my facebook wall and twitter. Why did he write this so publicly for everyone to see?

because he wants people to feel sorry for him. ideally your friends would come to his defense, and hes also slightly pathetic

He could of just written on his wall and it happened to show up on your wall because he is in your friends list.

Because he wants to be the martyr/ the saint/ the good guy in all this. That's why. Otherwise, he'd have done it privately. He wants to make you look like the bad guy by not responding.

Good for you, I would NOT be responsive to that either.
