Problem with my dell 313 printer?
I have a new problem with my printer that I’m hoping someone can help me with. I have a dell 313 all in one thats been working perfectly for well over a year now. The problem I am having is getting the black and color ink cartages to print together. In other words the only way I can get it to print color now is to turn off the black ink in the printer’s preference menu; although, it will copy with all the ink. The only thing I did was change the ink cartages to an off brand but, when I put the old ones back in it makes no difference. It does shows the ink levels as full and, it will test print with all the colors but, just won’t print.

thanks for your help
I want to thank both of you for taking the time to answer my question. I took your advice and after some trial and error I was able to uninstall and reinstall the soft where and now my printer works fine. Although I lost my dell docking station on the top of my desktop and had to reinstall it but, everything is working great now. I THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH!!!!!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

ok from what you written it sounds like you have a software problem.
Just uninstall the printer and then reinstall it again that should fix it

Hello Anomalies,

I am from Dell Social Media and Community.

Follow the link below to find the driver for your printer, you may install it and verify if the issue is resolved.
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/e...dell-v313w

If the issue persists, use the Dell supplied ink cartridges. Uninstall and reinstall the driver from your system and verify if the issue is resolved.

If this has not helped you or if you need any further assistance, feel free to message me on Twitter(@NiranjanatDell). I will be happy to assist.
