How can you file a complaint against a hacker?
A company called Denta White hacked into my Facebook account and put ads on my status. I've since changed my password but I'd still like to stop them from doing this to other people. Does anyone know of a way to file a complaint?
I'm not a computer expert, nor do I wish to be, so if you'd rather be rude than helpful please don't bother to answer.

Thanks to those who were helpful : )

Please DO NOT confuse a Hacker with Adware.
Denta White is a company that gets promotion through adware, Facebook is a site with week ad protection, Denta White, being adware will automatically show up on that site, regardless of who is in control and display itself. There is no way to stop this, this is how sites get money.
Perhaps you should spend less time on those wasteful sites and actually Learn what a Hacker is.

You have to make the complaint to Facebook immediately.

Outside of that, there's not much you can do except sending an email directly to the company sending the messages. Tell them that they are spamming you, and must stop immediately otherwise you will take further legal actions.

I hope you won't take this the wrong way, but your question demonstrates that you have no idea who actually did what. If you did try to make a complaint, you would likely be blaming the wrong person or company. In fact, Denta White was one of the victims and it wasn't the Facebook account that was hacked into.

If you must, the best company to complain to is your Internet Service Provider. First, you pay for their service, so you won't be wasting an innocent party's time trying to figure out who did what to whom (most complaints actually just create new victims as companies waste time and effort trying to track down a problem that has nothing to do with them). Second, they should have the ability to figure out who did what and file a complaint that makes sense to someone who can do something about it.

Sorry, but this is the harsh reality.
