Finding others like me – Marketing?
If I wanted to start a humanitarian/religious organization, first I would want to find like-minded individuals that believed the same things and have the same goals and desires.

Question: Where and how do I advertise to find people that share my passions, beliefs, and vision? Would it cost a great deal of money?

1)Create website
2)???

1. A website has pretty expensive server costs, but you can try godaddy.com
2. If you want to expand it past your circle of friends, try advertising on Google.
3. Obviously humanitarian work costs a lot.

So, only do this if you have plenty of money on hand.

Hope I helped!

Instead of a website I would recommend to start your own blog. The best blog-building provider I found is here: http://www.squarespace.com/?associateTag=vladmikh

If you regularly post new information on your blog using keywords for your target market then your Google ratings will be higher. There is a free tool to choose good keywords. Go to http://www.goodkeywords.com/

Don't spend money on advertising if you're starting your venture on a shoestring budget. There are free or inexpensive ways to do that more effectively than offline ads.

To learn more how to draw traffic to your organization's web site or blog go to http://vladey.com/, sign up for free and get access to free video tutorials that will teach you click by click how to set up your social networking system.

This way you can not only find like-minded people, but do some fund raising for your organization. Good luck to you and God bless you!

P.S. But if you want to build a free decent website go to http://www.freewebs.com/
