Why won't my page description display when linked on facebook?

Why won't my page description display when linked on facebook?
I used <meta name="Description" content="Photographer and researcher of Utah's Canyon Countr and its prehistoric inhabitants">
immediately after <head> but does not pick it up on Facebook.
How can I fix this?

Update the browser to the latest version to get things fixed.
