How to disable posts popping up on other peoples stream?

So on Facebook whenever i like or comment on something it pops up on everyone else's stream. I wanted to know how I can disable that. My parents are always yelling at me for liking photos with swear words in it, and it's annoying. So can someone help? Thanks!

There's a special friend list on Facebook called "Restricted". You may find it here. https://www.facebook.com/bookmarks/lists. Add all required friends to that list. They won't see your activity any more on their news feed as well as on the activity "ticker"
