What are kindle fires like?

Hey I might be getting a kindle fire. (not hd) what are they like? What features do they have? Are thy good quality? Heavy or light? Good speakers? Stuff like that. Thanks, no links please I want to know your opinions. Answer with most detail will get best answer! Thank you.

I have used the non Hd one and honestly they aren't worth the money. The speakers and internet are alright but nothing breathtaking

I would suggest you consider a Nexus 7. I believe the 16g WiFi only on is cheaper and it has a Tegra 3 prossessor (alot faster)

But, if you really want to go with the kindle, you won't be very dissapointed, as they are fun to play with (apps e.c.t.) and from what I have heard, the WiFi is incredible

You can use it for:
- Watching movies and tv shows
- Listen to music
- Play tons of games
- Read books/ Magazines/ PDFS
- Using various apps for fun and work
- Internet surfing
- Youtube/Facebook/Twitter

Cons:
- App store is limited (You can sideload apps from google play)
- No camera or mic (HD version has both)
