How do you make your profile private on facebook?

I have logged in on other facebooks of people who are not my friends and when i look up my account they can see everything. i want my profile only to be viewed by my friends. how do i fix this problem?

I think you go to privacy settings. And change your profile from public to custom or friends.

Select "Friends of Friends", "Friends Only", or "Recommended", review the settings to make sure you approve, and then click "Apply These Settings". For example, if you use the "Friends Only" settings, your profile information, pictures, and posts can only be seen by your approved friends. Alternatively, you can select "Customize settings" to control who can see what type of information.

Log on to Facebook, then you should see an icon that is shaped like a lock on the top next to the log out button. Then go to "Who Can See My Stuff?". Then click on the button that says "Who Can see my future posts?". And Choose "Friends Only"..And that should do it
