What can I do to solve this browser/virus issue?
One: My keyboard keeps locking up when I type, such as skipping letters and such.
Second: I'll type in certain websites, such as usps, yahoo, youtube or even facebook and it will redirect to some random page, like an ad or something of the sort. How can I solve this issue? Thanks.

The key words here are SAFE MODE with Networking!!!

Download, (if you can't get on-line, have a friend download and copy to disc/flash for transfer) install, update and then in SAFE MODE* run full scans with these programs...

http://www.superantispyware.com
http://dl.surfright.nl/HitmanPro36.exe

**Note: Malwarebytes should be run in 'Normal Mode' unless that isn't possible!

*** Important, when downloaded/installed/updated disconnect from the internet ***

Then re-start.

Try running a couple of on-line scans to be sure...

*Note: On start up (before Windows loads) keep tapping either F5 or F8 (be aware that some manufacturers use F8 for system recovery!) then use arrow keys to highlight 'Safe Mode with networking' and hit Enter/Return, click on a user account, enter the Administrator password (if you don't know it, there probably isn't one so leave it blank) and hit Enter/Return.

That sounds like a browser hijack. Restart in Safe Mode. To get into SafeMode restart your pc and before Windows loads repeatedly hit the F8 button. When prompted pick Safe Mode with Networking. When you're in Safe Mode the pc will run slow and the screen will be at 800 x 600 pixels.
Download and install Spybot Search and Destroy. Run it in Safe Mode.
Then restart and check its removed the threat. If it has, install and run Spywareblater. Ensure all protection is enabled.
