Quick Facebook question about mutual friends?

I am not friends with this person on Facebook, and when I went to their profile it says we have 4 mutual friends. I clicked to see which 4 people they are, and it only shows 3. Can someone explain why it does this?

There are multiple possibility to this problem;
1. This "4th" person could have blocked you.
2. This "4th" person could have deleted their Facebook but it still shows up 4 in the system.
3. Possibily Facebook counted you as a Mutual Friend in this case.

Also, may I ask. Why are you so eager to know?
But My best guess is that it's just a glitch/ mess up in the system and it just hasn't updated to 3, because of a possible delete, remove, block.

My guess—and it's just a guess—is that the fourth person has his friends list hidden.
