He is mad because I facebook instead of called. Am I in the wrong?

A guy I went on a few dates with is ignoring me because I facebooked him instead of calling him back. He called Saturday but I was unable to take the call. I sent him a facebook message. I have facebooked and called him in the past, he use to be fine with ether, now he is mad.
I am planning on calling him tonight, but maybe I should wait. Also should I apologize?

The main reason i have not called him is that he is such a chatter box that our conversation would be an hour or so and I did not have time for that until today.

that's no reason to be mad. do you text? if so try texting each other so you may contact him through the phone and you won't spend hours talking to him.

I would call him and ask him why it was a big deal that you facebooked him instead of calling him. Explain to him that you couldnt answer his call when he called you. Calmly talk to him dont demand answers or anything because then he might just get even more mad. If what he tells you, you think you should apologize then definitlely apologize sincerely and tell him you will try better next time. hope this helped
