Would you consider an online sales person, or is it an on-site position? I am confined to wheelchair, but would be interested in telecommuting job. Please email for resume.

Hi Stayhappy,
First I would check with my competition, maybe there is someone WHO has come across your path at work and you admired their qualities that were outstanding.
Next I would check with my network of professional and business associates.
Yes you can do the traditional papers but I might look at the Careerbuilders and Monsters of the world to get a bigger pull nationally on talent.
Next you may want to check your trade association they may have a short list of potential prospects.
If you wanted to share your industry with me that might help give you a few more ideas.
Good Luck as Donald Trump say "Hire slowly, Fire fast"

I've worked with/in sales before. Recruiting companies are generally a waste of money, newspaper or online ads can be good but realistically social networking is the best way to find just that right person. Tell your friends, your family that you're looking for someone - some of the best employees you can find is someone's friend or family member looking for just this kind of job.

Good luck!
