Which laptop of the two would be best?
Hello all fellow computer people, I'm trying to decide which is the best of the following computers. I know they look exactly the same but there not.

I need the computer to be able to handle the basic games like all the Tycoon brands and a few games here and there in the more advanced realm of Civilization and Mount and Blade. I don't play seriously advanced games, but I don't want to find out the games I have now are an issue. I do need the computer to be a serious social media outlet as I need social media for my new job oppertunity.

Which of these two would be the best?

http://www.amazon.com/HP-dm4-3050us-14-0...roduct_top the cheaper one,

http://www.amazon.com/HP-Pavilion-dm4-31...B0085RV05O the more expensive one.

Mainly I need to know if the cheaper one could handle everything above, or if you have or used one and think it is better in the long run to own the more expensive.

Both of those laptops have an integrated graphics card (Intel HD 3000/4000), which is not good for running games. However, it looks like the games you want to play are not very graphics-intensive, so you should be okay. You might have a bit of stutter on higher detail settings.

The two are pretty much identical; the only difference I see is that the more expensive one has a newer GPU and the cheaper one has more hard drive space. I'd get the cheaper one.

The HD4000 in this perfectly adequate for these types of games. The second laptop will be the better option.

I would say none of them. The best laptop deal with even better specs than these laptops and even cheaper right now is Acer V3 which got Core i5 processor and 1GB dedicated graphics which is best for running any latest software or play current games with 30+ FPS, priced at just $549.

http://bestlaptopsunder500hub.com/best-c...r-500.html

It features

3rd Generation Intel Core i5 Processor
1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT630M dedicated graphics
15.4 inch LED-backlit widescreen display
4GB DDR3 Memory
500GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
Windows 8
2 USB 2.0 Ports, 1 USB 3.0 port and 1 HDMI Port

The best feature of this laptop is that it got 3rd gen core i5 laptop with 1 GB DDR3 graphics which is capable of running heavy study related software like photoshop or autodesk, watching hd movies or playing graphic intensive games like skyrim at medium settings without any lag. Plus it got USB 3.0 port and hdmi port for fast data transfer.

NVIDIA GeForce GT630M 1GB dedicated graphics is capable of providing 30+fps for many latest games.
