Ipod touch 4g messing up?

Okay so, every time I go into game apps, it'll exit out right away, and it goes really slow on the ipod with camera, video, everything. I already restored it back to factory settings.. and it's still happening. Is my iPod broken?

You might have a virus in it but there is nothing you can do about it. They can come from twitter, facebook, emails, or anything you search in safari. The same thing happened to my cousin and she had to get a new one.
