How do I get a lot of followers on Tumblr?

HELP!!! I love Tumblr, and reblogging, but I just made it and only have 20 followers. Can anyone tell me what to do to keep my follows AND gain more, besides the whole "f4f"????

Post pictures on your facebook, and make a status telling peeps with it to follow you

Well, you JUST made it so you shouldnt be expecting a ton. To get more followers is easy. Post legit pictures & people will follow.

To get more followers, promote yourself like you're doing on here, and do it also on your Twitter or Facebook. Ask people at school/work if they have Tumblr, and if they want to follow you. Also tag your posts, people find your pics easier that way which then leads them to look at your blog! Reblog follow trains, and follow random people and most usually follow back. :] And always stay active! You'll keep your followers that way.
