How can I take pretty pictures of myself?
All my friends have instagrams and facebooks and twitters and can take gorgeous pictures of themselves and I just can't. Even my big sister trys to take them with me and get me to smile but I feel like its not pretty. I want to have an Instagram and feel confident that I look good and take pictures with my friends. I know I'm not unattractive but every time I try to take pictures of myself I feel like they come out horrible. Any help?

Hey! So my sister and I are photographers and I find that one of the big factors that make up a good selfie is natural lighting.if you stand near a window the lighting looks amazing compared to a bathroom mirror picture. Also dont pile on a bunch of make up to try to look better because that just makes anyone look like a clown, stick to natural make up and natural lighting and that should be alot better!

Try doing a take of something personal. If you like flowers.. take a picture of you surrounded with a nice scene of flowers..Don't take it in a ghetto where there is trash everywheres. Customize your scene. Make it personal. Use different editing apps to enhance your features, such as eyes, hair, and lips, and breasts. In this picture, try smiling very lightly (so It looks like you're smiling, just not so you're trying too hard. Also, try using a camera, or something with good pixelage, and try taking the picture in a natural lighting, such as the sun. Try to avoid taking one where your skin comes out orange in the lighting...
