What is the best way to start a ska band?
So I've been trying to start a ska band for two years now. But no one seems willing to play or theyre too lazy to go to practice etc. How can I find some people willing to do this?

Hang out around second hand clothing stores. Particularly ones that sell old suits.

My experience with starting bands has been.. Nobody wants to do the same thing. And most of the other musicians I hung around with were by no means punctual people. Eventually I got ahold of a decent laptop and began recording my own music by myself. It's getting cheaper and cheaper to do this every year.

You could try searching or putting up an ad on http://www.Harmony-central.com I'm sure you'll get replies.

Myspace and other social networking sites might be a good place too.
