How do I put an icon on my desktop for my Yahoo homepage?
I do NOT want Yahoo as my homepage, but I'd like an icon for it on my desktop. Currently I open Facebook and then click on the icon there -- a step I'd like to eliminate.

To place an icon for any web site on the desktop do the following.
Go to the website.
Drag the icon that is just to the left of the URL to the desktop. You may have to make the window smaller to see the desktop.
Rename the Icon as desired.

NOTE: For email right click on the icon and select preferences. Change the URL to http://mail.yahoo.com
It probably shows the server address plus additional details which are dynamic and may change.
