Is it weird/creepy to retweet a strangers tweet?

One of my followers retweeted something and I agree with it. I want to retweet it but it think its kinda weird since I've seen her before but don't know her. I'm a little new to twitter too. So is that kind of creepy? Since I'm not following her?

There is no problem on retweeting a stranger's tweet. It's a social networking site, not a friend's networking site. If there was something wrong with retweeting a stranger's tweet, then the retweet button won't exist.

By your friend retweeting that person's tweet, they are showing the tweet to you, so it's totally okay to retweet it ^^!
