How would you react to this status?

I really sympathize my depressed close friends on Facebook. And I'm about to post this status for the sake of them and everyone else who feels unhappy from using Facebook:

" I'm worried about how people use Facebook... I mean, from reading an article, I just realized people create an illusion by posting pictures and statuses that insinuate they're having more fun than they actually are. Furthermore, people compare their lives with others, and many girls stress about their looks. I hope people begin to realize life's not all about comparing yourself to others - it's about achieving YOUR own goals."

I'm just asking this because I'm self-conscious - How would you react if you saw this status on your Newsfeed? Would you be convinced, offended, motivated or amused, etc.?
