I miss my crush and want to start a Facebook conversation but don't know what to say?

He's already one of my best friends and we've talked a lot on facebook and otherwise, but I just recently started having a crush on him and since then I've been kind of nervous to talk to him. I know most of you are going to be like "Just say Hi" but the thing is
Since I already know him well I can't really do an introductory thing. If Im gonna talk to him then I'm gonna need something to talk about or else it's just weird.
Also he's never online at the same time as me, so I need something that would work that doesn't require immediate chatting.

You can say "Did you watch the Golden Globe Awards?" or some other current event.

Well, since you guys are like best friends, you don't need something planned to talk about. If there is something coming up (like a party perhaps) you could ask of he's going or not, something casual like that. If you get a friendly conversation going just go with the flow! But whatever u do, don't make it seem weird. Just relax and talk to him like you always have otherwise he'll think something is up. Just be yourself, that's who he's friends with!

the more you online talk the more awkward it will get in person and thats where you want your relationship to go right? you can also read the person better and can develop more emotional connections as to just reading words...it wont get weird unless you make it that way. be casual
