Please provide a news article or law case (with a link).
Basically, employees watching youtube, facebook, porn, downloading, email etc... and somehow you get like virus and company infomation leaked out.

There are plenty of such cases, too many to pick a single one off hand. Try searching google instead of getting us to do your homework for you Smile

Would be different if you had asked about implications to you in a personal way but just simply asking us to find something where we would use a search engine the same thing you can do, I must agree with the Doctor on this one. Just Google it.
As it applied, (this is my attempt to answer the question you should've asked, please give credit if it helps), you may be interested from either side. I will tell you that the employee is liable and can be sued for any damages, proprietary information lost, cash, account info, you name it. Whatever was lost, and whatever must be fixed or changed is all on the employee en total.

If it is just a case where little damage ws caused even still a firing offense in my book and I did just that with an employee of mine before. One was searching for a new job on my time and computers and another was sending data to another company. They didn't hide their tracks very well and I found them in minutes in the cache.

You will surely find plenty of cases to site if you need this for a class as well. Hope I helped in general even though I cannot spend time searching out what will be easy for you to find. Instead gave you info I thought you could use.

Good Care and luck,
Sean Masters
