Anyone know of any good ways or places to advertise a movie at?

Hey, I'm an intern at a production agency in michigan and I'm suppose to help find good ways to advertise our new movie thats coming out.. We have a Facebook page for it and are trying to get as many people as possible to "like" the page and become fans of it. Anyone know any good ways to get people to do that or where to tell people.. Also if you know of any other good ways to promote the movie other then using the whole Facebook concept please let me know. I'd love to hear all ideas. Thanks

Take out an ad in the newspaper

Get someone who works at a newspaper (entertainment section) to write an article about it. Screen the movie for critics. If the movie sucks though, then this may backfire.
