Is this paranormal or just something simple?

I have a slight problem, it could be considered "paranormal", but I'm very skeptical (it still freaked me out). I have a younger brother (age 13) who was on his phone, we both were awake. His phone started to glitch out and apps were closing themselves. Facebook then removed it's shortcuts, the Android web browser kept opening a website he had visited previously (not in the history), and the voice-to-text feature kept turning on. I told him to restart the phone, but once it was off, it would not turn back on. He then saw something in the reflection and as he tipped his phone to see more of it, he saw a face. The face was narrow, had blurred eyes (as if they were covered by fog) and very pale. He put down his phone with a terrified look on his face. So to keep him calm, I stayed up until about 6:30 in the morning watching TV with him until he fell asleep. However, at about 4 in the morning, the TV had scrambled the display and made a noise like "WHRRRRRRVVVMMMMMMM". We said it could be a TV station broadcast glitch or something.

Oh, and we have a VCR that turns itself on randomly, plus orbs in almost every picture.

Can anyone explain all of this logically?

Phones/electronics glitching is not weird. Orbs are just dust reflecting off of the flash (google it).
And well, humans are programmed to see faces in things, and in a frightened state it would be easy for your brain to form a scary face off of some smudges on a screen.

It;s okay, the phone thing is just glitchy that's all, maybe an app he downloaded, same thing happened to my phone when I was outside. Just not, you have to have FINGERS to touch touch screen phones, Ghosts don't got fingers, well they do but smart phones only respond to HUMAN touching. The reflection is just your mind because maybe at first you though it was a ghost The TV is a simple coincident, maybe it was bad connection or something wrong with the channel
