What impact do you feel facebook and other social media has had on our youth's expectations for themselves?

About what their friends expect, what society expects, do you see this as a big problem going into the future?

Yup it's a big problem. Youth expect to have a lot of friends, "likes" on their statuses, comments, etc. Facebook actually causes a bunch of negative things. I read it causes depression (people envy others who post happy or "show-off" updates and pics), and unnecessary drama (jealous girlfriends, etc).
