social networking yes or no?

hello lovely people , this gonna be abit long to read but iam sure of two things" alot of you have been the same thing i've been through and this totally worth reading
well when i say social networking the first thing that gets in your mind is facebook or twitter etc
i read many articles about the side effects of social networking and the conclusion was people on these sites either are attention seekers and when they get attention they Develop to be egocentric which is the common pattern on twitter or just the people who are abit lonely or free and want to share thoughts the bottom line here who cares about your thoughts the idea of writing it self
writing is just a very gentle way to waste time i mean you're wasting your time writing in vain trying to get people to understand you "which iam doing now lol" but they don't care about you they just maybe Curious and trying to find themselves in your words which leads us to another line people join to know more about people there is no privacy ,however, since i signed in facebook my grades are getting lower and lower i can't concentrate on a task anymore, maybe the flaws is mine that iam not moderating my usage the whole idea of knowing is what keeps me in , there are people i care for and i want to know more about them so i can treat them better
iam with the idea with "face your problem and don't facebook them" i don't like complaining or just typing useless things to get peoples pity or attention , iam i being to cynical ? it although influence real life people might misinterpret some statues or so meting which gave a bad impression about them ,i don't see the point of using them at all i maybe even answered my questions :however, feel free to write your own perspectives and thanks in advance
