How did I get the win 7 security 2012 virus?
Like what are the ways that I would have gotten it like through Facebook? Or what? Because I just got the virus but I didn't do anything bad.

You clicked on a bad website and since your antivirus is crappy(McAfee,Norton,AVG,Avast ? ) it didn't block the threat.

You probably thought you installed an antivirus program, but you got that instead. Anytime you installed a program would be a possible cause. I highly doubt you would have gotten it through Facebook.

Well, according to most people who say where they got it, you can get it just about anywhere, but I have never been attacked by any of the rogue programs like that, so IMO from porn...but that's just my opinion.
If you purchase the pro version of MBAM, it can protect you from getting it in the future. It's only 25 bucks for a lifetime license. |

Install Malwarebytes (It's free), update, and run a full scan. You can get it from the link below.

Happened to me too remove it before it does further damage like it did with my laptop
