Does anyone see irony in the use of facebook for these recent Arab uprisings?

All of these uprisings for democracy in Egypt, Tunisia, and Libya were partially fueled by the social media site facebook, a creation by a Jewish-American...two things many of the islamists can't stand. Gotta love irony.

Facebook didn't fuel any uprisings. The lack of jobs, high price of food and oppression of the people fueled the uprising. Facebook was just a medium to show what was happening to the protesters, like Twitter or Youtube.
If by 'islamists' you mean Muslims, we don't hate Americans or Jews. We dislike Americans bringing war to our countries and Zionists. Your stupidity is funny.

I don't see any irony in it. A person doesn't dislike Muslims because they are Jewish and a person doesn't dislike Jews because they are Muslim. I'm Jewish and some of my good friends are Muslim. We don't really think about all of those stereotypes associated with our religions. We accept each other for who we are, religion and all.
