Once he does this, he can use this sites to be able to greatly segmentize his target market. If lets say you are a marketing manager of a pharma product, say you are selling vitamins, these sites can help you find out what sort of characteristics of people, wether they like to be energise, always on the go; their gender, and lifestyle. From these information, they will be able to customize they marketing strategy. and the list goes on.
