How do you delete cookies and temp and etc. On Mozilla FireFox?
I just decided to try out firefox for awhile (my previous browser was IE) In IE it was really easy to go to options and they would have everything like history cookies temp folders and etc. I don't get how to use Firefox at all or does firefox not have it like internet explorer? because I don't like some privacy settings on it and i want to change it.

Download and run this free program called ccleaner. Please make sure Firefox isn't open when you run this or it may cause problems.

Sure, click the Firefox button, the go to Options, then Privacy.

You can quickly clear everything using the shortcut key combination of CTRL + SHIFT + DEL. It works in every web browser so you don't have to remember where in the menu to clear your history and stuff.

Rather than scrubbing out all cookies, a better approach is to keep those cookies that are harmless and mostly beneficial, and don't let the junk ones even get on board.
"1st party" cookie "assets" are from the site you ask the browser to 'fetch'. They are usually helpful, usually harmless and are often required to view and interact with the site.

'Trackware' (called "3rd party cookies" in most browsers) is snoopware that monitors your movements across the 'Net, and sends that info back to advertising conglomerates; or may siphon off your on-line activity and broadcast it to Social Networking sites...without your informed consent.
Data can sold by these advertising ghouls to anyone who wants direct ads at you.

Improving Firefox "Privacy":
The following tips help, but methods ("vectors") are dynamic.
FIREFOX: Tools> Options> Privacy> top drop menu set to "Firefox will use custom settings..."> Check 'Accept Cookies from sites'
â–ºUn-Check 'Accept 3rd Party cookies'.

A good collection of effective add-on's (Official Mozilla) is here:

AdBlock Plus (with 'subscription' added) & "Better Privacy" also help defray rubbish.
►► At minimum, get the #1 item for malware prevention: NoScript, which constrains automagically fetching & deployment of tainted assets.
[see this page for how it works, and how to use it...very straight forward; http://noscript.net/features#contentblocking
