Is there any way to browse through people on facebook based on age and location?
Or any other social network? I'm going to start a lawn care business in my community and want to target people of a certain age in my location. Or any other ideas on how to do this online.

The only way to get this information is to use Facebook's Advertising. They allow you to "choose your audience by location, age and interests". More information can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/advertising/

I'm not sure if it directly tells you the names of the people, or if they have to click your ad. It might tell you the impressions.
