Can i be compensated for a stolen photo?

Yesterday on the bottom of the youtube website I discovered an advertisement for a major dating website to my surprise it featured my picture and said sign up for more photos. I had no knowledge that my picture was being used, I've never been a member on the site . The picture had been stolen off my facebook or myspace. I want to know if I can be compensated for the use of my picture, its my face on there add.

I don't think so, it's part of the Facebook ToS that unless you dictate it under your settings that they can let someone use your picture in their ad.
